About my practice

Hello,

I have a small private practice that will be expanding shortly. Many of the referrals and enquiries I receive are for children from 0-18 years and adults with speech language and communication difficulties. I have been working as a speech therapist for three years and prior to this I worked in disability services for 20 years with personal experience of supporting my own child with speech and language difficulties. I have excellent knowledge of supporting children and families with Autism/ADHD and early language development. I have a special interest to work with Speech Sound Disorders, Literacy, Language and Stroke. I have done multiple trainings in countries Ireland, UK, and America/Australia (distant learning). I am Hanen trained for both More than Words and It Takes Two to Talk. I have recently completed my training in a literacy based program to support children with dyslexia and language.

I also provide an adult speech and language therapy service. Areas are: AAC, Stroke rehabilitation, dysphagia, disability, literacy and communication partner training. I trained in programs Lee Silverman Voice Training ( LVST) and Expiratory Muscle Strength Training (EMST).

I am professionally registered with CORU, HCPC and Teaching Council of Ireland. I am a member of IAST and RCSLT and many special interest groups (SIG)
