This specialist clinic offers combined speech and occupation therapies to provide support for children with a wide range of special needs.Our team of therapists here at Achieve offers both individual and combined SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPY and OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY in accordance with the child’s needs. Groups: We provide joint therapy sessions where the children’s needs are efficiently addressed by providing SLT and OT input in a fun, interactive way. The activities have been designed to utilise the skills of both SLT and OT to create a child friendly routine. Therapy is delivered as part of group to replicate situations in the child’s daily life where acquiring these skills will maximise his/her participation and potential.Individual: Diagnostic Assessment and Intervention is provided in the individual one to one sessions.Speech and Language:Individual one to one sessions cater for both children with developmental speech and language delays and special needs. This one to one intervention is focused on the child's speech, language and communication needs. We provide assessment and treatment for the diagnosis of Phonological delay/disorder, SLI, Language delay/disorder, Articulation disorder, dysfluency. Occupational Therapy:Individual one to one sessions to develop skills in areas such as attention and concentration, organisation, sequencing of tasks, handwriting, fine and gross motor coordination. We provide assessment for the diagnosis of Developmental coordination disorder-DCD, Dyspraxia and Sensory Integrative Disorder.
