About my practice
Carolyn Webb is an experienced Early Communication Coach and CORU-registered Speech and Language Therapist (Ireland) with over 30 years’ experience working with families.
She is the creator of the Connection Kickstart™ Programme, a warm, strengths-based coaching model for parents and caregivers of children aged 2-6 years who would benefit from help with back-and-forth interaction or conversation. The programme offers clear, research-informed strategies that fit easily into everyday life, and creates small, powerful tweaks to support progress in children’s communication skills.
Carolyn’s unique approach blends her clinical experience with coaching methods proven to boost confidence, reduce parent stress, and create more opportunities to practice meaningful interaction at home. Her 1:1 sessions are tailored to each family, with low time demands and high impact: parents often begin seeing changes in just a few weeks. The programme has been designed for busy parents who have limited time to spare.
She has worked across a wide range of settings, including Community Care SLT, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, specialist Language Units, and as a school-based therapist for children with Developmental Language Disorder. In recent years, she has focused on supporting parents directly through independent coaching: helping transform confusion to confidence, and helping parents and caregivers feel equipped, and connected, which in turn can have a huge impact children’s communication skills.
