She specialises in the assessment and management of dysphagia and communication disorders in adults, with particular interest in head and neck cancer rehabilitation. She is currently completing a Master’s in Cancer Survivorship at Trinity College Dublin, bringing advanced knowledge in oncology-related swallowing and communication needs. Ciara has also undertaken “Final Journey” training, enabling her to provide compassionate, person-centred support for residents and families at the end of life. Her practice is guided by a commitment to safety, dignity, and quality of life for all individuals in her care.
