The practice is run by Una McMahon a Senior Speech and Language Therapist with over 15 years experience working with the HSE. Una graduated from the University of Ulster in 2007 and was awarded the prestigious 'Placement Prize' for achieving the highest clinical grade in final year. Una is fully Coru Registered, and is a member of both the Independent Speech-Language Therapists of Ireland, and the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists Ireland. Una has a wealth of clinical expertise in the treatment of speech language voice and swallowing difficulties in adults, having previously worked in a variety of different settings including Beaumont hospital Dublin, St Vincent's hospital Sydney and local community care and outpatient services in Co Louth. Una has continued her professional development and has obtained certificates in many different areas of speech and language therapy. Una is a certified practitioner of the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment and Laryngeal Manual Therapy. Una additionally practices as a speech and language therapist with the paediatric population and currently sees both preschool and school aged children with speech and language delay. Una offers assessment and advice services also, delivering bespoke tailored training packages to parents of toddlers with speech and language delay.
