About my practice

I am a CORU registered, Member of the Irish Association of Speech & Language Therapists (MIASLT) Speech and Language Therapist (SLT).

• I am a Lámh Tutor as well as ADOS (autism assessment) trained. Lámh is a manual keyword signing system which children and adults with intellectual disabilities in Ireland use.
• I graduated from NUIG with a first-class honours BSc degree in Speech and Language Therapy in 2021.
• I have significant experience working with autistic children, children with disabilities, children with complex needs and children with speech and language impairments.
• I am keenly interested in Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) and Lámh. AAC supports children and adults who cannot communicate through verbal means to communicate with others.
• I have presented on parent and teacher perspectives of AAC in Ireland at an international AAC conference; Assistive Technology Industry Association in Orlando in February 2024. I have also presented to the IASLT National Conference in November 2023 on AAC as well as providing a webinar on bilingual language assessment to Irish SLTs through the IASLT in October 2023.
