About my practice
I a CORU registered Senior Speech & Language Therapist (SLT) with over 15 years experience working with infants and children with feeding, eating, drinking and swallowing difficulties. I have experience working on an Early Intervention Team and in an acute paediatric hospital setting with infants and children from birth to 16 years.
My clinic is operated in conjunction with Dr. Gavin Stone, Consultant Paediatrician, Bon Secours Hospital, Cork, in order to provide a comprehensive assessment
and management plan tailored to your infant or child’s needs.
Feeding Assessment is provided for infants/children who present with:
- Difficulty latching to a bottle
- Short suck bursts and noisy breathing when feeding
- Unusually short or long feed time
- Frequent spitting up and/or vomiting after feeding
- Frequent respiratory illnesses and/or slow weight gain
- Gagging, coughing and/or choking while eating and/or drinking
- Persistent rejection of solid foods
- Difficulty transitioning with textures or chewing age appropriate food
