About my practice

 

I graduated from the University of Limerick with a Masters in Speech and Language Therapy and have experience working with people who have a range of communication abilities and needs. I have provided assessment and therapy for people with; speech delays and disorders, Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), stammer, and communication difficulties associated with learning disabilities, ADHD and ASD, among others.

I am currently working from a clinic in West Cork. My approach is person-centred and I collaborate with clients and parents/guardians to tailor the therapy to each person attending the service.

I am CORU registered (CORU number SL039591) and am a full member of IASLT (The Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists). I am trained in Lamh (Module 1), Feeding, Eating, Drinking and Swallowing (FEDs), Children First Training and CPR.

I am committed to progressing my professional development and have completed additional training in areas such as; supporting early speech and language, complex speech disorders and bilingualism.
